Forums - Gaming Discussion - Gameplay Trailer for Mass-Murdering Shooter Is Beyond Brutal

I would have liked this as a 10-15 year old kid (when Postal, Soldier of Fortune and Manhunt came out), but I'm too old for such games now. Violence alone isn't enough.

Dude... That was f*ckin awesome! Sign me up! I want to play this

0331 Happiness is a belt-fed weapon

Ugh... forced shock value just to stir up controversy. What's the motive here? Just cause you're angry and hate the world? Why not make a game where you get to gun down children in a school? Or manuever a plane into a bulding, watch people scream and perish. Utter trash.

VG, meet Snuff.

How is this any different from any other game filled with murder and violence? God of War, anyone?
Kratos is not on some holy mission, he just loves ripping the spines out of random people.

I enjoy senseless violence too, and I have no problem identifying it as such. It's still a video game, like the rest of them. Nothing new. Stop differentiating between "good" killing and "bad" killing - IT IS STILL KILLING

The game itself looks pretty fun, but like someone already mentioned, I wonder how long it will last. Might be difficult to keep it fresh, looks like limited weapons and "only" "normal humans" as opponents. I wonder what they have planned.

Looks pretty interesting. Not like you can't mass murder in other games like GTA, although not as violently. And it's not like other mediums haven't explored things like this.

GTA 5 is GOTY while this is "the worst game ever"?

GTA 5 - Killing Hookers and Strippers

I think this game might have more of an opposite effect than assumed. In other games that involve killing people there's not much humanity to be found in the innocent people or enemies killed. From the sounds made of many of the people that died, the game looks like it is really trying to make you feel repulsed from the acts. This is a major difference from other games that glorify violence.  Edit: Or in GTA's case make the acts seem funny.

It would be funny if the developers intended effect has the opposite which is to not have fun while sitting back and enjoy doing these kinds of acts to let off some steam.

I didn't see anyone taling about this. I've never posted an article before. Hope I didn't screw up somewhere.

Here's the trailer on Youtube.

I don't even  know what to say to this one.

It seems the complaints are mainly coming from lefty cream puffs. Personally, I think this GAME looks like wild fun and I cannot wait to play!

Try to do at least ONE good deed everyday....

This isn't like other violent games out there, guys. Even something like GTA, CoD, BF or God of War don't depict "realistic" violence. It's "fictional" violence, if that makes any sense.

This game though... it shows extremely realistic murder. The lighting, the shots at gunpoint, the victims crying and begging for their lives... Consider this: after playing MK, GoW, GTA and etc, this is the first time in my life I've actually felt repulsion over violence in a video game. I actually felt bad watching the trailer.

It looks kinda fun (kinda reminds me of Dead Nation, which is pretty good), but that realistic violence and the "I fucking hate this world" stuff (aka "trying too hard to be edgy")... I'll pass.
