Congrats Microsoft, but I checked the market caps for Nintendo and Sony and they are worth trillions of dollars. So not good enough I'm afraid :/ (please know that I am joking).

With Microsoft taking over the 3rd position in Market Cap I guess you could say that Vanguard Group just scored a hat trick.
Vanguard Group is the number 1 and largest Institutional share holder of each company - i.e. Apple, Exxon Mobil and Microsoft.
