Actually, Wii sold around 1 million consoles during its first September, nearly double the PS4 number.
On September 1st it had sold 11,536K, and by September 29th it had sold 12,462K giving the actual total for Wii to be over 926,000 for September 2007, it's first September.

Nop, we are talking about US hère, Wii sold 501k for its first september

PS4: 17m XB1: 10m WiiU: 10m Vita: 10m
Just goes to show that the NA is anyone's game at the start of each gen. PS1,PS2, Wii,360 & PS4 can attest to that.
