How long were Sega fans in denial when the Dreamcast was abandoned?

I am worried about you. Just do it to save face.

I don't care enough to do that.

I always require scrutinized evidence to subscribe to certain beliefs rather than jumping on the bandwagon cause its popular.

If I'm wrong, I will flat out admit it but since:

a. this is undoubtedly a matter of opinion

b. posters refuse to present a convincing argument, despite explicitly outlining one multiple times

c. somehere are so strongly convinced they are offended that anyone could even doubt their beliefs and suggest that doubt is the same thing as countering.

There is no wrong or right, just opinion.

Rather than providing the evidence I'm asking for, Instead I get random shit about the 3DS and the PSP because we all know they had the exact same advantage and disadvantages as the Vita. Is it really that hard?

Posters are so busy arguing that they rarely ever prove things or at the very least make good points, and both parties leave exactly as they started, what a waste of bloody time.

So concerned with biases and agendas and fanboyism and intention and PR statements and etc. that there is never an exchange of ideas, just a defense of them.

I've yet to see a simple why aren't you sure, instead I get "you are wrong and this is why" or "you are right"

Few people on this forum recognize the value of being wrong, they're so ashamed of it, afraid of it, ready to mock someone else at the slightest error, despite the fact that learning from mistakes is a fundamental part of how learning and intellegence work.

I'd rather be wrong 100 times, then right once. Especially, if I'm right when it matters, and clearly this is an internet forum, it doesn't matter.

Even Sony doesn't care about the PlayStation Vita so why should other developers care about the PlayStation Vita?

Sony put a lot of their popular IP on Vita in firsts year Uncharted ,Little big planet ,everybody's gold, wipEout 2048 and they are all exclusive not a port that's what i remember it' was not a bad support 3rd party in contrast never support Vita the only one who support it was Ubisoft with Assasin's creed liberation,Call of duty was not even developped by Activision but by a Sony first party studio so Activision didn't support it at all other 3rd party just released a lot of old port nothing exclusive.

Sony sold the PlayStation Vita as an AAA Games powerhouse ultra cool must have Videogame System and now you can be lucky if you get some indie games on it because Sony doesn't care about the PlayStation Vita anymore! And this makes me really angry, because as a PlayStation Vita owner I feel like I have should spend my money better on a system where I know that the company have trust in their products and don't stop supporting it just because it sells not like they hoped! I really feel like the one who bought a dead sytem and Sony is laughing at me because I was so stupid to purchase their PlayStation product because of all their false promises!

What did this had to do with what we said before you said 3rd party didn't support Vita because Sony didn't support it which it's not true i explain that in my last reply psp was abandoned by 3rd party despite the good first party support.

I though Vita will be the perfect console that attract everybody they show Hardcore games Casual games,AAA games, low budget games, mobile games but i know majority of people will buy it for AAA games in the end they attracted the small number of  people who buy it for other then AAA games and abandonned the main audience  who want AAA games on handheld that's why i bought it day 1

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

Please read my comment preceding the one you quoted.

I already have.  No one is gonna do the work for you.  You know where the infromation is if you are actually even remotely actually interested in the evidence one way or the other and not just trolling.

The point of this thread is for posters to explain it sufficiently without relying on either common knowledge or assumptions. There is no point to posting in this thread otherwise. Whether or not I know it personally is irrelevant.

It is releveant for me so that I know I was justified in calling you willfully ignorant.  I wasn't 100% sure before (which is why I pointed you in the direction of the information you seek).  I am sure now that you are chosing to be willfully ignorant.  I will no longer continue posting in your troll thread even if you can't admit to yourself that is what it is.

Bump because people upset for this thread amuse me.

Sony saw the writing on the wall for the Vita I would say before some of their fans and even analysts did. It was only reasonable to stop giving attention to their bastard child when the market was rejecting it.

Reminds me of the Wii U, except Nintendo still hopes to pull something out of their arse on that one.

The support the Vita gets is by third-parties in Japan. I can't remember the last time there was a large release on the Vita for the West. Was it all the way back when Uncharted came out/when it launched?

Sony's plan for the Vita over seas is to make it a PS4 accessory, the only reason they support in Japan is it's the only keeping their consoles relevant over their. Most of the games on the Vita appeal to the Japanese demographic, which isn't a bad thing, when they get ported over seas(if they even do that) the game gets no advertisement, and is generally not what most people want here.
Also when was the last time anyone saw a Vita commercial!

Last week. Tearaway minecraft and lego hobbit.

I think further than a ps4 accessory. Its being positioned as an ultimate handheld via psNow. Its a shame about the subscription. But they get a decent subscription going and its a pretty interesting proposition.

Still don't see it picking up with those games, considering EVERYTHING has Minecraft, Lego Hobbit isn't reallly a system seller and is available on other systems, and Tearaway is the only one with any system selling power. It's still far from a ultimate handheld, it's barely even a surving handheld.

Well, it's the only decent portable Minecraft and the mobile version is the best selling one of the lot so that might have some sway. But I agree the games aren't spectacular for shifting systems. The question was when was the last time you saw an advert for it, and for me, it was last week.

As for ultimate handheld, sales-wise no, but I meant Sony are trying to position it as that. It's the best portable gaming hardware and will play PS1, PS2, PS3, PSP, PSM and PSV software as well as remote play-ing PS4 software, which will no doubt be added to PSNow in the future.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

I personally love the Vita and right now it is running away as the best of all the systems for 2014 for me. Adding share play to play my PS4 games on it as well is just running up the score now.
