Forums - Sony Discussion - Littlebigplanet 3: Likely the highest rated new game that Sony is going to put out this year, why is interest so low?

As the title says. Normally we have our Sony guys everywhere on this forum hyping up all PS retail games but this one has kinda drawn the short straw, but why? It is more than likely going to be the highest rated new (as in no HD remake from last year) PS4 game published by Sony this year and nobody seems to care, why is that?

Are there no LBP fans on here? (he asks hypocritically never even having played an LBP game)

At least the list warriors should care about this because it might even come out on top of all new PS4/X1 games this year.

Share some hype with LBP 3 fellas, the poor guy needs it.

Cause we all know it will sale and be great, plus its more a general seller then one to the pew pew die rusky or alien die crowd on forums.

I have tried the first LBP, but I did not like because it is 'floaty' or something.

I love LBP and cant wait to play this with the fam on the PS4. I think alot of people are writing it off because it isnt coming from MM

Eh, Sony just isn't hyping the game up. They did the same thing with Karting and the Vita game. It will probably sell decently, but not as good as past games.

Im excited for it but probably wont buy it at launch. It looks really good but it launching in really active months

I hate the bird. I think it makes the dog rather pointless. And I REALLY want to like the dog.

With that said, I'm not worried about this game at all. I'm already sold and I know I can expect a great game that I can play for a really long time. Probably gonna get this game digitally just so that I never have to swap discs to pic up and play a few games.

I'm hyped. LBP is always great and I'm getting it on PS4 day one!

I'm hyped for LBP3. The problem is that it is being released in the midst of COD: AW, Far Cry 4, and Assassin's Creed: Unity. The fact that LBP3 appeals to an entirely different demographic helps, but Sony should at least advertise the game a bit.

Sony focus marketing on their next big release (inc their co-marketing third party games)

Before september they focused on Destiny.
About a week or 2 after destiny they focused on driveclub.
Driveclub will have its time then it will be time for two new marketing campaigns.
Littlebigplanet and GTA V.

No point advertising a game too early, where people will eventually forget about it.
