No Im not, GTA is the biggest franchise this gen, and just about every single PS360 owner will buy the game, now that its mainly a hardcore base.
2008 end of year predictions:
PS3: 22M
360: 25M
wii: 40M

I'm talking about true sequels, not spin-offs/expansion packs, The Sims and The Sims 2 sold 16 and 13 million each, and we all know about Pokemon.
As for the 'wii' franchise, I don't know about that, they're not directly linked, and Wii Sports was bundled.

11 million is entirely possible. The total install base is currently 27 million (360 plus PS3), but this should rise quickly, by around 21 million consoles (I'm assuming the 360 sells another 9 million and the PS3 sells 12 million, this could go much higher, of course). 11 million software units out of 48 million consoles is eminently doable.
I'm predicting 10 million this year. It will be hurt by the much smaller userbases. Also, the 360 version will beat PS3, since the game will sell best in America, where 360 will crush PS3, and PS3 won't beat 360 by much in Europe.
I agree with the numbers, I know a lot of people who are buy a ps3 or 360 just to get this game.
Man, everyone buys GTA. Even 10 year olds have copies of San Andreas, around here. It's releasing so early, that if it doesn't sell 11 million across 2 platforms, I will be worried about the strength of the industry.
Part of me is more excited for Saints Row 2, though. Customization, and a female lead = win! in my opinion.
