Just let that sink in for a second. No other competitors have hit that make with there best selling console nor have come close. How do they do it? Is it a standard thing like every tissue is a Kleenex, every Monster Truck is a Bigfoot, every gaming console is a Playstation? World recognition?  At times it seems they dont even know why they are selling so well. Any way I was just really amazed at that figure and whated to know what the community thinks. Also does that mean if the PS4 dosent sell 115 Mil than it is a failure?

Not where I was going with this thread but, has the PlayStation department avgd a loss over their lifespan? Truly I dont know, i wouldnt assume so.

Its a great achievement but that means 2/3 of their consoles were below the average.

What I am say is that all that money they get from PS they just lose in some other department

Thats a great point. Do you think the PS2 was out of the norm and should not be counted? The way I see it you're not as good as your best performance and you're not as bad as your worst. That leave s just the PS1 which is right at about the avg.

Youre right about the company but he wasnt talking about Sony as a whole, he was talking about Playstation consoles
