I'm more impressed by those Monster Hunter numbers to be honest. Not least because I was told 1.5m+ was overestimating it :P

Something that sold 45m cannot be dead but its obvious the reason why Ninty made such a drastic new SKU was because the 3DS would have otherwised struggled to reach PSP level of sales. Otherwise I'm sure they would have saved this for the successor.
