There are a lot of good people, and it's definitely leagues better than other gaming sites.  I'll fully admit that I'm not so good at ignoring the bad in something and just enjoying the good as a lot of people are.  But it's like I said, I just can't stand how some users are nothing but terrible and everyone raises them up and gives each one of their worthless threads a thousand replies.  Oy, but I need to stop rambling about it, haha.  I think the internet in general is just not for me.  XD

It's probably just a bad habit, but eeh, it's nice looking at these charts here and there.

Otherwise I would be following the news, which just depresses and angers me. Better to watch silly console wars than the real stuff. Plus the people here mostly have the same interests as me, and I don't have to search the internet for gaming news and rumors myself :) I guess Neogaf could fit that purpose too, but that site is too massive for me. Easier to keep up with vgchartz.

Because most gamers here are tolerant.

You are going to get a lot of responses. This thread will probably be colored blue for you for a while. I appreciate your honesty and hope you don't get flamed just for stating what you obviously have felt for a while. We've all gone through that I think. The reason, though, that your probably keep coming back is like many other users have said, it's actually not that bad here...compared to a lot of places.

In general this site holds people more accountable regarding facts. There are many users here who know most of the charts by heart and who you can count on to enter a thread and eliminate much of the BS that would get a pass in other forums.

I also think that while you are right about certain members creating many, many threads...you'll find that we get as much enjoyment out of mocking them for it as they do for posting them, so it kind of works out. There was a time I think as the last generation was winding down that the site got completely dominated by childishness and spam threads. I left then. But I've poked around since then and it has gotten a lot better. I think that has to do with the new generation ramping up again.

well...good luck figuring out your conundrum...but hopefully you'll just be the change you want to see here. If you think the site should be different, then add your input and commentary (as you have just done). If nothing else you'll exercise some demons.

Mainly the people. The folks here are pretty colorful if you ask me, especially a certain someone. If that person is reading this, you know who you are ;)
