I joined mostly due to news and a little sales data since sites like the Escapist are slow to cover on news and sometimes they save it to churn out later with a few twists in order to garner clicks which is pretty bad form.

I don't see much point in me frequently commenting on here though since there's bias all over the place along with obvious trolls being subtle and the same goes for people trying to be snide to one another and then there's the Sony domination thing which I can't stand nor ignore since it gets dragged into almost any thread about gaming, anyone speaks good of Xbox or Nintendo it can't be talked unless Sony is thrown in along with the usual Sony only fans making no attempt to hide that they hate the other platforms, games and users.

I'll probably get moderated for speaking ill though, just like last time yet I report the obvious trolls and snide and nothing happens, it almost feels like dealing with Escapist mods since you can't criticize their judgement.

Apart from that I see no reason than to just browse 2-3 pages and close the tab.

I like to see how Wii U and 3DS are selling, and discussing current/upcoming Nintendo games and news.

omg don't even mention that. i could never get the stealth suit on mgs3 for the ps2 because of the motorebike level but i finally got it for the mgs3 HD platinum trophy. 

I wanted to give up but after getting the MGS2 platinum that was never going to happen! 

It is thread about why we still come here. Not why we contemplate about not coming here.

I get news and rumors about anything game related here before the other sites. So it saves me a lot of time and allows me to be efficient. The only other sites I frequent are Playstation related and IGN, so it's good to get a glimse at everything else via VGC.

Oh and the meltdowns and gay humor from some members too. hehehehe ...
