Getting ready for the holiday season.  Apparently, they believe it will sell better now that MK8 is out and Smash is coming out later this year compared to last year which only had Super Mario 3D World.

Sell your Wii U's and smile, no trying to convince your customers to buy The Letter :D

I'm not saying you've not put enough thought into this, I'm saying I think you're putting too much thought into this. Not just this particular case, but in general you seem unhealthily fixxated on the Wii U doing good. Even calling around asking various shops. And it's not even about making it doing good, it's just about finding out, and hoping that it's doing good. I mean, sure this is a sales site, but you're just extreme. No offence.

They say the last three months of the year console sales are greater than the first nine months combined. Maybe they just want to capitalize on the trend?

Just like to make a friendly remarks but maybe this is a hobby of his and trust me there are americans who are more extreme with hobbies than spurge,give you a hint star wars ;).

That is cool. I think the WiiU will sell very well this christmas, it is really the cool console to give your kids and, if you are going to have more than one console, the wiiU is the perfect second console, cause it is so cool and unique

Its probably a combination of a fairly good Q4 lineup (Bayo 2, Cpt. Toad and of course Smash), holiday in general, and Nintendo shipping as many units as possible.
