From the guys early in this thread is safe to say it is undertracked at least 20-30k in Spain... it is yet undertracked ~250k WW if you have more 10 countries like Spain you can reach the right number and I believe others countries are undertracked in EU too.

Sad the info about that is so little that we will staty only in the guesses.


considring the PS4 is a bit over tracked here in the USA it's prob undertracked by a good bit more than 250k outside of the US/UK/Japan.

I live in Spain, and all my friends they are going to get a x box One at christmas. Most people who i know have the x box One. So this surprises me. Very interesanting

That was the point of the 10 million discussion which ioi can't find where the numbers are coming and said it was accurate in EU... well it was innacurate in Gemarny by 50k, Spain 20-50k, etc... it is little for each country but when you add all the 100 counties you will see the under can be close to million.

Our current Iberian data as of September 27th is:

  • PS4 - 460k
  • XB One - 70k
  • Wii U - 160k
  • 3DS - 1.29m
  • PSV - 350k
  • PS3 - 3.54m
  • X360 - 1.57m
  • Wii - 3.63m
  • DS - 5.84m
  • PSP - 3.16m

So for PS4 that is around 375k in Spain and 85k in Portugal so if anything we look slightly over. We are also around 100k higher in the USA overall than NPD and higher than Chart-Track in the UK. Also, countries like Spain and Germany (and to a greater extent the US) have much larger markets that most others so saying that if you are 10k low in one country and times that by 100 then that can make up a difference is crazy - most of those countries haven't even sold 10k LTD.

Yeah, Portugal is quite overtracked. Great tracking on the Spain side tho

And I'm glad you adjusted your data... the last time you showed to me 330k for Iberia at mid of August... unless VGC shows it selling 130k in five weeks you adjusted the number up and the 330k that you showed to me before is not valid anymore... I use use the data you gave me.

But I feel like you adjusted bit more than nedeed..

Iberia VGC: 460k as of Sep 25th

Spain GFK: 360k as of Early Oct.
Portugal GFK: 45k as of Early Sep.
Iberia GFK 405k without 1 month of Portugal

It is the opposite now... looks ~50k overtracked unless Portugal did 50k in one month (unlikely).

At the same time PS4 is undertracked by ~300k WW... the few ks in small countries seems reasonable.

More like 50k in 3 days lol, those were 24 September numbers.

you my friend have a group of friends who are all hardcore xbox fans. It might feel like the norm to you but you're actually in the very small minority. The 1 in 7 group.
