No Resistance wont suck, but it will be dwarfed by Gears. To my knowledge Insomniac don't have a AAA shooter to their name ever. And they dont have a single AAA game this generation thus far.

Uh, Tools of Destruction and Resistance are excellent games. All Resistance 2 has to do is close the graphics gap it had with Gears, and Ratchet shows they are capable of that.

Thanks for the heads up. Sabotage is being renamed Velvet Assassin, but it's still slated for PC and 360. I'll take it off if and when it shows up for PS3 too.

Yes i'll be upgrading regularly. I would expect help however since I'm not always the first to know about news, releases, release date changes, etc. etc. So whomever has anything to add to this list, just put it in a reply or message it to me and I'll make the necessary changes. I want this to accurately convey what we can expect this year.

Alan Wake, Left 4 Dead, Gears of War 2, Ninja Gaiden 2 and Fable 2 all look good. The rest of the games I will wait for the reviews before I decide on buying them. There are going to be a few stinkers here. Dark Messiah (53%) and Kingdom Under Fire (54%) both games are rubbish judging by their average score.

It's possible, but I doubt it. It's been spoken publicly by Microsoft and Lionhead Studios that Fable 2 is to be released in Fall 2008. There's also been a very steady stream of footage, screenshots and gameplay for a while now. They're also releasing that XBLA minigame to tie into the retail release. I say this one stays on course for a September-December release window.
