Honestly, it is going to be hard to decide. Xbox one has Forza Horizon 2, Halo MCC, Project Spark, Sunset Overdrive and more. While the Wii U has Hyrule Warriors, Smash, Bayonetta and more.

WiiU>XBO>PS4 these holidays.
If I cared for Halo maybe I would give it to XBO, they are however just remakes.
Wii U.
Project Spark has released with no fanfare, and the videos I have seen make it look really dull. We still don't know just how good Sunset Overdrive is. Insomniac are inconsistent (though I'd never say bad, the worse they produce is just average), and the game looks like it could be style over substance. The quality of FH2 and MCC isn't in question though, so the X1 lineup looks good right now, and could be great if Sunset Overdrive is a hit.
But I would still give it to Wii U. Bayonetta 2 has a meta of over 90, Smash is likely to be the same, and those two games are better than the X1 lineup, and neither are ports. Hyrule Warriors is decent as well.

Project Spark already got some good reviews. http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-one/project-spark. It looks like a 75-80 game on metacritic.
If we are looking at UNIQUE and QUALITY software. Then I would say Wii U
I don't give a shit about any of these exclusives but since the xbox has 3rd party i'd have go with that.

The X1 has more quality software and varied games coming up this holiday.

The OP hasn't set any criteria, but judging from his comment it looks like he is going by exclusives. If it was including multiplats then, of course, it would be X1.
I say Wii U, but if the Halo was a new Halo and not a compilation than maybe it would be harder.

Oh wow, it has released already? Definitely no fanfare for it, not even a squeak since I usually hear releases even for all those niche NIS games.
