I know if you read my posts it does seem like I think the guy was 100% victimized here and shouldn't have been punished for his "alleged" actions. But I do think he should have been arrested and the law dealt with him in the strongest way they could, but that is why the laws are there, to convict and punish.

That girl is going to be pretty messed up for life after this and turning it from being messed up about sexual assualt to being messed up about the beating and cutting up of a guy because of her is not justice really... she'll have what was done to the guy after on her mind too along with the rape.

what everyone forgets its not just the girl it effects, what if she has a partner, her family,etc. And the fact is in my country anyway they will possibly be out of jail after two years on good behaviour if they even get convicted, while it can even take many more years for the girl/guy to rebuild ones life,

Yeah, its 2014 and thats what we do. We cut off arms and dicks for doing  what they were designed to do. Rape is horrible, so is stealing, but we are not going to go chopping people up if they rape or steal.
We are going to arrest them, take them to court, prove them guilty and give them a prison sentence with all their anatomy intact.
