Nah, I prefer consoles. I have a gaming PC but I don't use it in my livingroom on my big TV, so I very rarely buy games for PC on the argument of better graphics. Generally on PC I play games that are PC only.

I don't think everyone cares about exclusives that much. Sure core gamers often do, for example I care about exclusives on all 3 that's why I usually get all 3, but the majority of people who buy consoles play COD, GTA, FIFA and other multiplats.

For example, Halo 3 has ~14% attach rate on XB360. Gears & Uncharted games have below 10% attach rates on their console. So, sure there are lots of people who can't live without Halo/Gears/Uncharted but they're actually a minority among console gamers. Only 4 out of the top 20 selling games on PS3 are 1st party.

I agree, most people buy Consoles for all the gaming needs not just exclusives. Exclusives just differentiate them but 3rd party games are what makes big differene which is why PS4 is doing great and 360 did last gen.
