More on topic, I'll likely never get a WII U since there isn't a whole lot of games I'd be content with and what's more is that I still don't feel that Nintendo will deliver on the support at the end of the WII U's life cycle.
I bought a Wii U for Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and have not regretted that decision. That game has now become my fav game of all time and 1,000+ hrs in, i'm still playing it. Presently playing Hyrule Warriors. Will be getting Bayonetta 1&2 and looking forward to Zelda and Xenoblade next yr. Luving each new system update. Great console.

Outdated hardware, low quality unappealing games, gimmick controller that is also unappealing, outdated OS and UI, and no variety of games that appeal to more than kids.

I think I'll be getting one next year. The timing hasn't been right for me yet. With Xenoblade and Zelda coming, though, I can only put it off for so long.

Even outside of the Nintendo section there will still be a lot of polls with pro Nintendo results and frequently at times even in the Sony section too! This site has a TON of pro Nintendo users no matter how you slice it. By comparison the Xbox and PC community here is a vast minority and the Playstation community is the only one that comes closest to the Nintendo community here but let's drop this talk as it's off topic.
There's only four games that I'm even remotely interested in on the WII U's entire life. SMTxFE is looking more and more like vapourware ever since Sega aquired Atlus so it's only fair that I count it out until we can get a non-indefinite status of the development or release date.
There's not a whole lot I'm looking forward to owning a WII U for ...
