After the 1 million in UK announcement, I just knew that Xbox One never went below 100k after August, and look at that, starting Week ending September 6, the One has never gone below 100k

So I actually think it will outsell WiiU by 2.5 Million but I thought 2.5 would be a weird goal.

Was thinking of stretching it and putting 3 million but that seems rather optimistic, what do you guys think?

Yea I figured so too.  I think the xbox one can possible outsell by 2.5 to 3 million by Janaury 3rd. However 3 million being a absolute blowout.

Now that's a bit more uncertain.

I don't think it'll do it.

I reckon 12m XB1 shipped vs 10.5m WiiU.

So outselling WiiU by about 1m.

What part of the Mario Kart series exclusively advertises or gets people intrested in the Smash Brothers Series?

Simple the entire Nintendo Lore, this is exactly why THERE is with no need of numeric data, evidently, more overlap between MK and smash than forza and halo, denying it is ludicrous.

 lets put it that way there would be more overlap between a “Halo Forza kart racing ulimited“ and Halo than between Halo and Forza this is evident and a verifiable trend with about any marketing associatio. Take hello kitty, take Pokémon, yughi yo, peanuts, or whatever you wan. fact is ninty stuff attract more ninty stuff hence smash fans are more likely to be MK fan.

We know MK fan base is bigger than Forza in regard to their respective counterpart namely Smash and Halo. Therefore, yes Halo has more HW pushing power than smash….

In that situation MK=Halo and Smash=Forza in fan base, so since the biggest HW pusher came first on ninty and second on XBo it is logical that there is more HW pushing power left on XB sid. In other word it would have been Smash first and MK second and Halo first and forza second on the release schedule I would have agreed MK would have probably won the HW pushing

And stop saying it’s my opinion any Nintendo fan that love smash probably love or at least like MK and in any case are more likely to buy MK than Forza fans are to buy Halo which have absolutely nothing in common not even their identity. Smash is a spawn of MK in the Nintendo lore period whether you like it or not at least from a marketing and brand identity point of view SO YES IT DOES ATTRACT MORE PEOPLE IN COMMON. and even if it is without doubt more likely statistically than Forza fan being halo fans You are trying to tell us that there is no way to say a Mikey mouse fan is not more likely to be a Donald duck fan as well than a Transformers fan is likely to be a Harry Potter one. Who are you trying to convince here if that were true we would fall in the highly improbable extremities of a bell curve with 20 standard deviations of improbability on top of it. So yeah I don’t have empiric numeric data for the overlap but I don’t need to because we would fall under an highly improbable situation in any case.

MK and Smash have more in common than Forza and Halo no need for data, past experience, years of gaming, my college education, and professional life in marketing are enough for me. Like I can guarantee you there is more overlap between COD and Halo fans than MK and smash and I don’t need numeric data to be 99% sure of that. Yet I LOVE HALO AND HATE COD but I know I fall in the marginal part of the bell curve.

yeap and I stand super tall by it.. With quite a copious amount of self insurance and very little doubt of the veracity of those statement... Anyone with an ounce of logic would agree... Why do you think licensing from big brand identity brings in so much money if not more than the original material they are based on... Stick Mario on a dildo and you'll have a bunch of overlap between MK and that dildo that's just a fact...

Well then 2 million is a good goal. I think Black friday we are going to see a massive jump over Wii U. This is why I think around 2.5.

The votes so far are Against me, I was also the underdog in just passing the Wii U in sales. Even I didn't expect it this early but I Think with all the deals on Black Friday. Xbox one Will have a massive surge in sales.

Seems the price break, 3 AAA games has lit a fire under people's ass's and I don't think that will change soon, Wii U has went over Horrible with the Casual market. So if sales have not jumped significantly with all the releases, I don't think they will, unless a price break or great deal comes.

Smash Bros is far weaker than Mario Kart 8.

Las 2 weeks, (day 15nov -) xbox one = ~950.000 units sold

Last 2 weeks (day 15nov -)  wii U= 160.000 units sold

You may be right but setting the Goal high is what makes it exciting.  I can see Xbox One doing a Million Black Friday.

ether way 2 million is no easy task, We will see what next weeks sales hold.

I will be looking for at least 200,000 + to feel confident in 2,000,000.
