So financial season is coming up, and with it shipments from the big 3 for their hardware. Sony and MS will likely unhelpfully combine shipments for their systems again making it more difficult to judge what did what.

Microsoft - October 23rd

Here is a table with the relvent information to help you with your predictions.

My predictions

PS4 - Q3 is always a very strong Q for Sony, so I expect 3.5m shipped to bring LTD to 14.5m

XB1 - Destiny, Tier 2, China, amongst other things have given XB1 a good boost, I expect 1.6m shipped, bringing LTD to 7.1m (thus an announcement from MS)

WiiU - I expect shipments to be steady after last Q, but nowhere near what VGC expects, as sales in each region do not reflect this (down over last Q WW). So 550k shipped, bringing LTD to 7.23m

PS3 - 0.8m, announcement of overtaking the 360?

360 - 0.7m, new bundles and price cuts. LTD 84.9m

3DS - 1.3m, sales/shipments are down around 50% so far this year, LTD 45.45m

PS4: 12,000,000 (sales above 11.8 million)
XO: 7,000,000 (sales little less than 6 million)
WiiU: 7,500,000 (sales around 7,2 million)

3DS: 46,000,000 (sales around 45 million)

Pretty good predictions... I just think Wii U did a little better with some good releases... not a big difference but enough to be close to 900k.

Are you talking about end of July shipment? PS4 sold 10 million in early August... 12m means 2m on shelves... it is unlikely.

Now for this Q is low :D you need shipment over 12.5m to have sales above 11.8m with shortages.

More about Mario Kart but yes... I think it did a little better... MK bundle sales are more splited in Jun and Jul than May.

NK give a boost for sure even if small... maybe 700k or 800k... I don't know.

June got a good boost from it, but sales in US and Japan in July were low.

We know that wiiU is overtracked. But I'd say that it wasn't during this Q that it was overtracked but more in May/June. I'm going with roughly 700k shipped this Q for wiiU and 1.3m for 3DS.
