Ubi are awesome, one of my favorite devs / publishers of the past decade or so along with Bethesda.
Screw the haters... the rest of us will enjoy amazing AAA games like AC Unity and FarCry 4.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Why? Nobody complained 2 generations ago when GC and Xbox owners had to endure 3rd party multiplatform ports that were sometimes poorly optimized or didn't fully take advantage of the hardware because PS2 was the lead platform that generation.

Like?
I actually enjoyed Red Steel and Red Steel 2.
Assassin's Creed continues to improve with new installments and Tom Clancy games just aren't as fun as they once were, so, I understand those arguments.

Perhaps he means if the sales positions were also reversed.
I like Ubisoft quite a bit. They've made some really good games and have quite a bit of diversity. They don't simply depend on their perennial AAA franchises. They've made mistakes but then so does everyone. Uplay is annoying but then so is the Steam client.

It's not that "nobody complained". It's that you didn't know about it because there weren't forums like the very forum you're on, or social media sites like Twitter and Facebook, where you could see immediate opinions from everyone. There were no "Digital Foundry Video Comparisons" and the like, also. Back then, everyone still had dial up and the massive infrastructure we recognize as the Internet was completely different.
Place today's internet in 2002, and you'd be singing a different tune. Or rather, since you seem to favor 2 generation ago as a foothold for your argument, how about you nix yourself from any gaming discussion, only get your news from EGM and Game Informer magazines, then "not complain" about anything.....since you wouldn't know about anything
