If these companies would release their titles on my iPhone I wouldn't need an emulator. That or don't charge me $10+ for a SNES port.

I don't even think some companies still exists to re-release my favorite famicom games..

Which is why you honor them by pirating a copy and allowing it's memory to live on.

You're a good man NiKKoM.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

In all seriousness, if the OP doesn't mind Rythm games that carry along a charming storyline, check out Deemo.

Video is 100% madness though. I'm nowhere near this good.

Play market is plagued by mediocre jrpgs and stupid f2p mmos. There are some very good alternatives to that, though:

Pixel Dungeon (brilliant roguelike)

M&M Clash of Heroes (tactics/puzzle)

Block Story (it's like Minecraft meets Morrowind) or Terraria (sandbox)

Shadowrun (cyberpunk; it's buggy if you gonna play as Shaman or Rigger)

Sorcery! (interactive fiction)

As for Baldur's Gate it might be hard to play even on 5" screen, although you could hack font size for dialogues there

Kingdom Siege!

I don't think anyone's mentioned it yet, so Brave Frontier is my choice to recommend.

I WON A BET AGAINST AZUREN! WOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

:3

Square Enix make all of the best ones, though they're higher in price.

#1 Recommendation:
The World Ends With You

Other Main Recommendations:
Final Fantasy IV
Final Fantasy VI
Dragon Quest VII

Chaos Rings games

Deus Ex: The Fall

After Those:
The other various FF/DQ titles

EDIT: Chrono Trigger and FF Tactics both go in main recommendations if they work on your device, but neither shows up on mine.

EDIT II: Hitman Go is a fun strategy game.

I know some may say free 2 play just plain sucks, but I have been playing this for a while and its pretty cool in my opinion:

1) RPG IRUNA Online MMORPG

http://iruna-online.com/index

Another is
2)RPG Celes Arca Online (MMORPG)

A lot like FF turn base combat

Proud psOne/2/3/p owner.  I survived Aplcalyps3 and all I got was this lousy Signature.

I have a feeling that not much ppl like playing RPG on phone.

Buy the ports of known rpg's and buy RPG's from Korea.
