D4 is "published" by Microsoft. |
I know that. It wouldn't exist without MS money.
That's what happens when you have no marketing. This game would have sold way better if people actually knew about it.
i hadn't heard of it until this thread to be honest, way to go with your marketing.

Well its also available on PC since May the 12th and I'm pretty sure that most people that primarily play their games on PC don't know about it either.
It was released on the wrong console. Clearly a Nintendo type of game. Xbox - noway!
They developed it on Unity that support most operating systems, then decide to release it where the audience for this sort of games are NOT! Windows, OS X and Linux are not where kids are. PS4 is a better choice but XboxOne is not. They should have gone with iOS and Android, maybe Vita. PS3 and Xbox360 are also good places, due to the large install base.
A similar game, Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures, sold enough on Wii U, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC to be able to release a sequel.

In that topic I've seen people using stuff like Heavy rain as a example, to me D4 and this one are way closer. |
So you think a narrative-heavy adventure game published and funded by Microsoft is closer to an indepdendent developer's platforming title than a narrative-heavy adventure game published and funded by Sony?
Okay then...
