While, I was looking up how Destiny has been performing on Amazon, I discovered something interesting.  It seems that a lot of the new PS4 owners are investing in the PS4 Camera.  For the month of Oct., the Camera has been performing quite well.  It seems to be constantly remaining in the Top 20 in the hourly charts.  More importantly it is currently #9 #10 in the monthly bestsellers, which is only one spot behind the PS4 SKU and 4 spots ahead of the Destiny Bundle.  This also puts it 22 spots ahead of the first XBO SKU on the list.  And on the yearly bestsellers, it is currently #53 #50, and seems to be moving up.  This puts it only 6 3 spots away from the XBO+Kinect SKU and 7 4 spots from the Titanfall Bundle.

Personally, I think this just proves Sony had the much better plan as far as cameras went.  Make it optional, but also give it compelling features that makes PS4 owners want to buy it, namely the Playroom and game sharing.  Thoughts?

I think it also illustrates the problem many had with Kinect.  The main advertised feature for it was to navigate the XBO menus, something it seems people prefer doing with a controller, and something you could do on PS4 with a $5 mic.  But, there wasn't really any must have SW to use with Kinect.  Especially with them taking several months after launch to bring game sharing to the XBO.

I just find it interesting that people were crying for the removal of Kinect, while they and others are buying the PS4 Camera in droves.

How does this make anyone a hypocrite?  Some people want a camera some don't.  The people that don't are obviously gonna voice their opinion over being forced to buy one.

Twich sharing is very popular now. So people are interested in it. Plus playroom is a good demo for the camera.

Yea i didnt care about getting one until recently because of Live With Playstation. I might end up getting one soon but i need a white one though

I guess people are mad at Playstation fans because other companies had their cameras mandatory in their system bundle so PS fans are now not allowed to buy the Playstation camera

Now this is just sad.
