Destiny xone preorders - 750.052. FW sales 846.613 (1.3 times bigger)

This is a good example why this preorders chart show nothing.

Well first of all, not all games show the same preorder behavior. Destiny was highly anticipated so it's only natural that it will have a much higher preorder ratio than any other game.

Second of all, it's weird that it isn't there at all. Forza 5 had 150k. Sure that's not a fair comparison but being not even there at all has some interesting implications.

So either it will sell like shit, or the digital sales are unusually high or it's not being tracked at all.

That's exactly why I think they will be jumping up soon. Will do over 1 million fw easily.
