Whoa. I expected way more iPhone and Android users here.

I never thought that WP users could roughly equal iPhone users.

This is a neat surprise.

We are growing in numbers :).

Yeah. I find it ironic that in a forum where people are largely device-agnostic regarding smartphones, the reception to Windows Phone is a whole lot more positive.

And, I say this as someone who's tried out Android L (my classmate forgot his phone, and I kept it for a while), iOS 8 (iPhone 5 is the family smartphone here) and Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 (Bugs be damned, I have Cortana!)

I WON A BET AGAINST AZUREN! WOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Android, I like the freedom to do what I want with my OS. Unless you jailbreak, ios makes that very hard. With Android I have tons of options of how I want to do something and what I want to do before I root the device (if I root it.)

windows CE

Systems Owned: PS1, PS2, PS3,PS4, Wii, WiiU, xbox, xbox 360, xbox one

I'm using Android and BlackBerry 10 right now. If I had to choose one, probably Android because of all the apps and general OS features like multitasking and the fact that his API allows more complex apps. But I really, really miss the BB10 amazing virtual keyboard on all other OSes. Basically, compared to BB10 all virtual keyboards, 1st or 3rd party, sucks bug time.

I had experience with my previous WP7 and it kind of sucked. But I liked it, interesting UI.

android for me

I was a dedicated iOS user until version 6 dropped and the bugs began with my iPhone 4 so I jumped ship to Android with the Sony Xperia Z and 2 years later I'm still loving the phone and OS.

Going to be upgrading soon (mainly to get a 4G data plan) and sticking with Android getting the Z3!

IOS. Had Android in the past, prefer ios for sure.

i use iOS but it is pretty bad, no flash, alot of websites just don't work. Will get android next time for sure.

iOS by a country mile, but admittedly I've only really used up to 6.0.x. I've been using a top-tier Android phone (4.3-4.4) for the last year, and it is an embarrassment to the species. WP might be more polished and reliable (who knows, I've used it maybe once) but needlessly obtuse.

Hint: iOS has the more active userbase, so I would think more websites will work with iOS than Android so that broken sites just don't know how to write for mobile.  I've seen Google sites that, when you try to view them on Android, tell you "bzzt! go back to your desktop".  And Flash has been dead on Android for a while: I mean now it's really, really dead.  I think maybe Blackberry supports Flash?
