Good for Nintendo, kinda bad for the Wii U though IMO. A lot of people are going to get their Smash fix on the 3DS and not buy the Wii U version over there.

Can we stop saying that^ The WiiU version going to sell 1mil-1.3mil lifetime reguardless if or if not the 3ds version existed.

also its much much much better this way having both versions,  a very smart decision.

They should have released Smash 3DS in all the countries simultaneously ! It would have been interesting to already know the whole tally for the world wide release....

That could have been an issue though....

If they are selling out in Japan just imagine how many stock problems they would have selling WW all at the same time. This way by the time it releases elsewhere they should have sorted their stock problems in Japan so they can focus on other regions.

Well it came out in the US today , and I imagine that has somehting to do with Japan being sold out, Nintnedo focused on supplying this launch instead of keeping up with an unsualy high demand from Japan.

How would the North American version effect stock of the Japanese version?

Now it can't sell

Hopefully it no sold out in West.

I didnt buy this game because I don't see myself playing it again after the Wii U version is released.
