Forza should easily win. With Driveclub getting a free version on PS+ with all modes but less cars and maps I think that will satisfy most people. Not going to be a big seller.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Drive club will greatly suffer in sales because most people will get their fill with the free version. And whoever has the free version is much more likely to get the full version digitally.

So I say there is no chance in hell for Driveclub to get even close to Forza Horizon sales.

Outside of the free version. Do you gys think think like advertising will have an effect or is it just in the bag for Forza?

No idea, but playstation owners need a driving game so....

I suspect Horizon will be the better game though. (according to metaritic)

XBO owners need a next gen racing game too. Forza 5 may as well have been last gen and nfs was sub par on both consoles. Horizon 2 and Driveclub are the first true next gen racers for both meaning the PS4 will still need an open world racer and XBO will still need a next gen track racer.

I'm surprised how lacking both consoles have been in their first year in such a big genre.

Forza. Mainly because it's an established IP, but I already know reviewers will bitch about Driveclub not having hundreds of cars and not being a 100% sim.

No amount of advertising will be able to reverse the massive disadvantage.

I'm not saying that Driveclub won't be a financial success. Just that we won't see many retail units on VGC. Its only chance is the PS4 bundle.

I think Driveclub will be played by more people and the digital side of it's sales will be much bigger than the horizon's. Whether that be the PS plus edition or the upgrade either way both are effectively bought since you pay for PS PLus.

Many people for a few years were telling us how the PS plus games were not free and now they'll claim driveclub ps plus sales don't count. -_-

I'm not sure how much of an inpact metacritic has on sales.  I think it may be more helpful to smaller games such as Child of Light

Depends on how many white PS4 bundles Sony is throwing Driveclub into.
