Forums - Gaming Discussion - Name a 7th Gen Game That Looked Bad But Is Still Fun Now.

Video games.  Video.  Games.  Sometimes, they get by on the visuals.  Sometimes, they get by on the gameplay.  Sometimes, they find a perfect balance.  I don't give a shit about balance right now!!  Can you think of any games that looke like poop but was just sooooo much fun?  I'm asking this because eventually all technology will look dated but good gameplay stands the test of time.

Way of the Samurai 3?

Saints Row 2.  There are tons of them if you go pre 7th gen LOL.

Xenoblade Chronicles. Plays great, looks very questionable.

Crackdown, looks like horse shit, fun to play.

Edit: I also liked ironman on the wii (I have no idea why) it looked like just a bunch of squares on screen (I remember seeing the 360 version and thinking: woah).

Red Faction: Guerilla wasn't a visual powerhouse by any means, but it's one of the most inventive and emergent open-world sandbox games ever created.

I bought that game from a video store that was going out of business for like $5.  Couldn't get it to play.  Always regretted not playing it.
