But as he said to me a couple of weeks ago, he wasn't interested in the position of lead moderator, and suggested that I take on the role.
I have now done so, at least for the moment. Axumblade is still very much a member of the mod team, and we're very glad to have him, but when you wish to raise an issue regarding moderation and are unsatisfied with your response from the moderator in question, you should contact myself or Smeags, who is taking on the role of Deputy Lead Moderator.
I don't envision the forum rules changing very much, but we'll probably use this opportunity to include some of the various minor rule changes we've announced in the past year or so and formally put them into the rules page, as well as clearing up a few ambiguities that have arisen in recent times.
So, this is all rather daunting, but I'll do my best
