When do you think, should next Mario game be out?

And what should it be?

I will be happy if 2015, which it should be the 30th Annyversary of Super Mario..., was the year of Mario Maker and an HD remake/collection.

Sunshine HD would be great! but what about?

Super Mario All Star/25th Annyversary this time in HD with the addition of Super Mario Land 1 and 2 in Colours HD and expanded worlds?

A soundwave in my ear tells me that it will be on the fusion platform to be released in 2016.

Well Mario Maker and an anniversary bundle in 2015 sounds nice in 2016 I want to see a full blown 3D Mario on WiiU in the style of 64, Sunshine and Galaxy 1&2.

The real question is if there ever will be a real successor to Super Mario 64.

is a 1080p remake enough for you? :P

If there's a Mario remake, I think Sunshine is very likely. The Wii U seems to be using the GC as it's idol, I mean, WWHD, Pikmin 3, the next zelda also being cel-shaded etc. and, ahem, similar sales as well.

Considering how well the Galaxy line of games was received (Galaxy, Galaxy 2, 3D World), I'd say never.

Would be a start. Probably more enjoyable than recent games.
