I wouldn't get EVGA right now cause a lot of their cards in the 900 series has a manufacturing defect, Get either Asus/MSI/Gigabyte

It's because they had a last minute pcb revision and had already put the cooling solution in to production and didnt want to fork out on a new run

Wouldn't doubt it although, they had the same issue with the 760 so you would think they would have fixed it for the 900 series but nope. Asus/MSI/Gigabyte all have a new design for the 900 series but not evga :/

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

So is my new build good?

No offence but I don't see how you can justify paying $2,500 for a PC set up. I don't know if it's true but you always see PC fans telling people how they can build a good PC for the price of a PS4. Even if you spent double that so 800$, wouldn't you have a system that runs games at a perfectly high level? This sounds like complete overkill and a waste of money to me.

Do you really need to overclock? Therefore... do you really need water cooling? Or such an expensive case? Or an external sound card? Or over $20 worth of fans? Or a $100 keyboard? Or Windows 8.1?

Or such an expensive case?  Probably

Or an external sound card?  No

Or over $20 worth of fans?  Yes

Or a $100 keyboard?  Personal choice.

Or Windows 8.1?  Probably

If the man wants to spend big money on his computer, let the man spend big money on his computer!

Then he might as well not ask around, and go right ahead and spend on the most expensive components around! :P

p.s. buy a decent enough motherboard and the onboard sound will beat out any soundcard you could buy, the only issue with onboard is sound getting buzzing from currents, but if you're smart about your wiring and take the time to properly ground things, it wouldnt be an issue at all.

Do not use front panel audio and expect the same quality as using the rear audio connector, regardless of if you are using onboard or an addon card.

just seems to me like they designed it to have 4 heat pipes, the unit cost was too high so they told the factor "change it to three then" and the factory, being like the chinese factories usually are (i work with these people daily), were like, okay remove one pipe, and did exactly that.

My suggestions..then again..i want to build something along it..but with 4K...for me..musssst have 4k...ooooo..ahhhh

Same price point...haus power and display

Also, spread your search for parts out.there are always great sales around on parts..its almost christmas, so you could save another few hundred

I like the Qnix, which is cheaper on ebay, since it can overclock to i believe to max 96hz

or

My dream build :)

I just stare at it all day

I did build a rig with i5 4670k ($150), 120ssd samsung 840 ($55), 2tb hdd, 8gb ram, gtx 780 (430) all for around 950, excluding monitor, and peripherals
There was a staples deal around..massive coupon discounts..just made 5 different accounts, price matched, and added coupon

This was all 10 months ago

Slickdeals man..other discount sites, unless you swimming in cash, which more power to you
