Anyway.. its pretty clear what happend to the charts.. ioi is trying to learn chinese. with numbers like these China can't be ignored.

Well hopefully MS see's this great start in China and doesn't drop the ball on this developing market. They need to have China as their 3rd market over Japan. I mean 100k to 24k, if I were the head of Xbox/MS I know which market I'm going to put more effort into. (This isn't saying to give up on Japan or anything but it certainly isn't that important to Xbox).

Those are REALLY impressive numbers.

if u want to launch right now, u have to partner and develop since one or maybe 2 years, already.

as long as sony is not offically available, its technically an exclusive in china.

ps4 will be out there q1 2015 earliest. maybe even later

But I thought there is close to no chance for MS to enter this market? You can get the better consoles (region free) in Shanghai and console gaming is dead in China because of piracy and so on...

Those are good numbers but I think MS is nuts if they think they can sell 1 million there this year, if they sold 100k week 1 itll drop to maybe 10k after the launch boom in two weeks or so. Its a nice sales boost specialy since its a market PS4 isnt even selling on but I doubt itll get anywhere near 1 million in 3 months.

Good start, if this is sell-through. It's also nice to put to rest the ridiculous 100K+ preorders for just a few stores. If that were true, then sales would have been closer to 200K. Anyway, it'll also be interesting to see where the baseline is.
