its bigger than australia launch sales

if this 100k is really sell through, it would be the thrid biggest launch territory for ms.

Nintendo dont have the actual console ready to sell there yet do they? It isnt going to be the WiiU, they think the Chinese market needs something "simpler" or "cheaper" I believe.

What about the 3DS? Just imagine the damage that thing could do at that price. I also wonder if the PlayStation TV will be even more successful than the PS4 and Xbox One at the cheaper price?

Well one of them that was pretty active on it is banned right now.... (EDIT: Nvm, He isnt banned anymore)

This does bold well for consoles though. Hopefully it will continue to grow from this point forward into a healthy market. Im sure PS4 will have a good launch there as well )

I think the general consensus is that this is great news. It also opens the door for PS4 launch numbers speculation in China as well. If the Xbox One is a success, it would be hard to imagine that the PS4 wouldn't be one as well. It doesn't look like Sony "needs" another big market, but it looks like they might get one anyway.

With Japan's console market looking questionable and the Wii U not pulling its weight, I think the industry as a whole is looking like it can do with another big market.

I don't agree with you because Japan only accounted for about 10% anyway and both consoles are outdoing their last gen counterparts. The Wii U is the exception but the sales of PS4 alone would still put everyone over last gens pace.

Wonder if a chinese company will try to make their own powerfull worldwide console.. they did it with phones, tv's, cars.. should be the time..

Huawei and others already make small android boxes but something with more power..

The Chinese market consoles market has the potential to do much better than Japan...Also their are some interesting games I want to come to the Western market...
