If they hadn't packaged it with Bayonetta 2, but had instead released it as a separate game at full price, would you have bought it?

Almost did on the 360. Glad I waited!

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Maybe, but I probably would have bought Bayonetta 2 first. Neither would have been a priority, so by the time I got around to Bayo 1, I doubt it would have been full price any more.

But on the off chance that I bought Bayonetta 2 and loved it and was in the mood for more while Bayonetta 1 was still full price, yeah I probably would have bought Bayonetta 1 at full price.

I should note that the two being packaged together makes this a much more compelling offer. I'm sure I'll pick it up at some point.

Me too in a sense. I already have the game but my 360 is cactus. I almost ran out and bought a second hand 360 slim about a week before E3, just so I could play the first game in preparation for the second.

Full price? No.

Full price, no. Especially since in my mind I would already have the best version of the first game, which I get reduced instead of paying another $60.

Hell, I'm not even sure if the Wii U version of Bayo 1 is better than the 360 version. 360 version was pretty good, but did have it's performance issues. From what I've played.

No if for the same price as Bayo2; yes if it was sold simliarly to NSLU.

It's so funny how you tag the perfect games to help explain your threads title...

Yes I would have, in fact I wasn't getting B2 in the beginning until I found out B1 was coming out with it though. I don't like playing sequels to games when I didn't play the first one.

Not for more than $30 though.

I have the game on PS3 so no. But since they are in the same package I am definitely playing this again.
