Forums - Gaming Discussion - Is Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes worth US$ 29,99 ?

Well, I just ordered a PS4 through an online store.    Watch Dogs and TLoU:R will be my first games for the console.

I still have US$ 44,00 in my PSN account for another game.  Until now, MGS:GZ was a certainty among the games I would get for my PS4, but seeing its price on PSN (US$ 29,99), I'm now in doubt if it's worth considering how short the game is said to be.

I'm thinking about buying a $20,00  PSN Card and get Shadows of Mordor instead.

What do you guys think about MGS:GZ ?

Nope, I played it and finished it under an hour... You could do all the optional stuff and try to drag the game out as much as possible but really... For $30... You can get more/better content in a game without going into optional category imo. Just wait for the bundle when it comes out that includes PP and GZ instead of buying it now

$10 tops.

I thought Ground Zeroes was an awesome game, then I saw how much is missing compared to TPP. It's still a really solid game albeit short, but that's really up to how much you want out of it. I played it for longer than most $60 AAA games because I wanted to try and S rank all the missions... On normal. Didn't even get around to hard.

I'd go $20, maybe less, depending on your enjoyment for replaying games

Just get Shadow of Mordor.

I got less enjoyment out of Ground Zeroes than I did from the free MGS2 demo in 2001.  It has a little replayability but who has time for that busy work?  Even a huge MGS fan is missing nothing by skipping it.

No. Good game, but not worth $30. Splitting singleplayer content off of singleplayer games and releasing them as demos or DLC is bad business practice and should not be supported. It is really short. I rented it.

It's a demo. It's worth $0.
