I swear it's gotta be a typo, cos it says "delighting thousands in Indian"

10 people per household = thousands.

Indian families aren't that large.

This was expected, as XB1 launched in India for $667 for the non-Kinect version and $750 for the Kinect + FIFA 15 bundle. Also XB1 games here cost $70 each. Add to that the fact that PS4 launched here MUCH earlier and PlayStation has always been a much stronger brand than Xbox but is still secondary to PC gaming and it becomes clear why XB1 sold such few units.

Also, to clear out things XB1 is Amazon exclusive in India.

Ok I didn't get your sarcasm there. Its the internet after all.

well there is this new trend going on in Indian where a poor selling product ties up with a shopping website to make sure that they sellout all their low stock allotment.. I m pretty sure during Diwali festive season just a month away X1 will be available in all the stores. Also the demand for Xbox one is pretty low compared to PS4 which launched in January and since then its almost sold out everywhere in local store.

tier 2 countries will save XB1, oh wait is India a tier 2 country?

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

Yeah, that's fine. The article's wording is somewhat confusing and, indeed, somewhat unbelievable.

Tell me about it.
