Or maybe 360 owners see less of a reason to upgrade to an X1 since there haven't really been any great games that justify the purchase of one.

but they upgraded to ps4, because of the great libary of games?

it doenst matter to what current gen console the last gen owner moved (or dont yet)

there is just the fact, that relatively more of the ps3 owner moved already compared to the xb360 ones...

but yeah it was sure, that this thread is full of  x1 is to bad, so 360 user didnt move talk.

no1 would ever say 360 was (and still is) just a great console...

Nobody in the thread agreed with you. And, based on your English writing skill I am not even sure you know what the word fact actually means. *rolls eyes*

sure. that can be true

i just talk about the "more x360 owner jumped to ps4, than ps3 owers jumped to ps4" nonsense.

there is zero evidence out, that confirm this...

the nonsense was that X360 owners arent upgrading because they are happy as it is.   This will never ever be able to be proved one way or the other with sales.  it would take a comprehensive study talking to a large cros section of those who own a 360, and havent got next gen yet.   This obviously wont happen.   The fact that people still own and use 360's could be for a number of reasons, besides being happy with what they have.

If you think the only reason someone hasnt upgraded is satisfaction, your living in a bubble.   Here is a fair warning.. Bubbles pop

Terrible conclusion, just terrible.  Your conclusion would have more strengh if XB360 was holding more customers or at least if the XB brand was holding them.  But the truth is, PS4 is stealing market share.

  2014 2015
XB360 509960 288300
XBOne   211420
XBTotal 509960 499720
XB Market % 61.62% 52.53%
PS3 317680 144150
PS4   307520
PSTotal 317680 451670
PS Market % 38.38% 47.47%

PS4 gained MORE customers than PS3 lost.  The one solid conclusion you can get from your data is that in the generation change, customers are moving from XBox to PS.  A game that was mostly enjoyed on XB is now at near 50/50 one year later.  This is a tremendously successful shift for the PS brand and there is no way to spin this in a positive way for MS.  10% year on year market shifts are very relevant.

The PS4 also exceeding XB360 total sales also means that more consumers have already switched than are due to switch, further lessoning the value of "late-adopting, satisfied XB360 owners".

i know.

none is talking about the topic titel. just the usual bullshit "because xb1 is a bad console" and "more moved to ps4, this isn't good for ms in any way" talk

welcome to the internet

and yeah, english isnt my native language. dare me im not using it in a perfect way

here is one more fact: my topic generate so much hate by just giving some actual sales figures...

this is totally on me. for sure

Yeah its sad how fanboys react to a counter argument based on some facts and then decide to attack others for their English skills. I wouldn't worry as it sais a lot more about them in fact!

If you claim something is fact based on inconclusive data, be prepared for people to spin it around in the same fashion you did.

I'm not saying your conclusion is nessaserily wrong (other than claiming it proves something is a "fact"), but you did kind of ask for it :p

The only thing your data is proving is that the Xbox brand lost share to the PS brand in the UK for Fifa sales.

why does this have to be in my topic.

this topic is not about where they moved, its about who moved.

yes, ur right. more moved to ps4 instead of xb1. and maybe even more x360 owner moved to ps4 than xb1 (i doubt it, but could be possible. we dont have reliable data)

but if we talk about overall last gen movement to current gen. the fact still stands: more % of ps3 owner moved compared to x360. (at least if we look at software sales)

no thats not the ONLY thing. it's just another thing proving by the data, too

why is so may stupid talk in this thread?

thats obvious, too

a blind guy could see that. but thats not what my topic is about.

u can make our own topic "ps platform is stealing marketshare form xbox platform"

i will come to ur topic and say; yes ur right...

Just because someone is buying a PS4, it doesn't mean they sold their PS3. They can game on both you know.
