Facts:

-Xbox One is beating the PS4 in the UK right now forcing Sony to cut the price of their console.

-Xbox One had a successful launch in China and looking to have 100k+ opening week.

-Xbox One will have more than 15K opening week in Russia

-Forza horizons is a great game!

Speculation:

-Sony had their biggest game come out already (Destiny even though its on Xbox One), while Microsoft still has Forza, Sunset Overdrive bundle, Call of Duty Bundle, Assassins creed unity marketing, and Halo!

-The gap in the USA isn't that big and still can go either way.

-Despite the PS4 bundle the Xbox One is still close to PS4 in USA

-Xbox One could pull ahead of PS4 if Microsoft cuts the price of Xbox One by 50 dollars

-Microsoft now owns minecraft so maybe the only physical release will be on Xbox One

-Microsoft Advertises better

Kinect will boost sales (even if it may be small)

You heard it here first homies, Xbox One will pull similar numbers to PS4 this holiday! I think the ratio PS4 to Xbox One will be 1.2:1

I could see that ratio in the UK and USA, but with the rest of the world joining in, no chance.

Microsoft advertises better? Not this gen, their advertising has been severely lackluster.
Sony still has Driveclub, LBP3, and the CoD bundle is overpriced (500$).

Yeah, MS beat Sony in the UK. This week. Because of exclusive advertising for fifa 15. Don't get used to it.

Can Xbox One come Close to PS4 this Holiday??
My answer is no If you talk total ww sales and not only a few weeks in two countries.

Xbox would have to sell 5 million consoles while no PS4 is sold.

Seeing as most of your points is US centric only i want to ask if your hypothesis is worldwide or worldwide in the US.. In US. Yes it can come close but all of the sales combinee will leaver the ps4 with 2 to 1 sales rate if not higher.

Also. Since when have xb1 outsold ps4 in uk since its 'beating' it.

xbone's sales may come close to the ps4's in the same time period of the holiday season, overall though, I doubt it will make a dent in the gap.

This. The huge deficit everywhere else will ensure that this doesn't happen.
