Only if people are stupid. This is the UK so buying the disc is quite a bit cheaper than the digital version (even with the EA Access discount).

i thought about uk guys buying form the us, hk or indian store ;)

 

yes retail is cheap in uk.

im from germany and many people buy discs from the uk

Oh okay...just did the maths and PS4 version sold ~1.6m in the UK and Xbone version sold ~1.5m...impressive numbers!



My prediction threads:

Wii U will sell under 40m units (made on 14th September 2012)

PS Vita will sell under 20m units (made on 30th September 2012)

Wii U will sell under 7m in 2013 - I was right

Halo 4 first 9 weeks sales prediction

PS4 to be down YOY in 2015

says that 32% of FIFA copies were sold on PS4 and 30% were sold on

Xbones...meaning that 2% is equal to ~100k if

the figure in this thread is correct. Colour me confused

It seems that FIFA didn't really move any consoles for anyone this week to any notable degree. The slight hw lead for X1 on the week probably didn't come anywhere close to the Destiny gap previously.

If they drop ps360 support for FIFA in 2015 or 2016, I imagine they could really push some consoles.

I sort of understand the disinterest regarding FIFA on 8th gen as a seller though, the game looks and plays great on 360 and PS3, and it's so ugly and low tech that it doesn't take advantage of 8th gen at all.

Sounds to me like the PS4 and X1 sold a TON of consoles to me. You're going to see roughly the same numbers for UK hardware as Destiny week, if not more.
