No. 56 46.28%

Nowi. 5 4.13%

Nah. 13 10.74%

Total:121

Nope. MK is the more popular franchise.

I wouldn't bet if I where you.

"I've Underestimated the Horse Power from Mario Kart 8, I'll Never Doubt the WiiU's Engine Again"

No way in hell is that happening when Smash is multiplat now. Melee is the only Smash title to beat Mario Kart in sales on the same platform, and even that was just by a hair.

Have some time to kill? Read my shitty games blog. http://www.pixlbit.com/blogs/586/gigantor21

:D

Nope and if only for the reason that the MK8 DLC will cause the sales of that game to leg out much better than DLC for Smash ever would.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Nope. Honestly the only reason SSB sold more on the GameCube was because it had 2 full years of extra sales.

If MK: Double Dash launched in 2001 and SSB launched in 2003, MK would've beat it there too.

No, the only reason we have the Wii U sales up this high is due to MK8, which is GP gold.

I make videos that are sometimes funny I think?

Agreed. Melee barely outsold Double Dash and that's with a two year head start.

Mario Kart is, arguably, Nintendo's most popular franchise. Smash Bros. is similarly popular but it's not quite on the same level. Plus the 3DS version of Smash Bros. will cannabalize some sales, although not to the extent some fans believe. I imagine Smash for 3DS will function more as a companion piece to the WiiU version, rather than a replacement. Even so, with a head start and a bigger fan base, Mario Kart should top it.

I don't think Smash will outsell MK8. If Smash releases as a Wii U H/W bundle (including Gamecube controller) those who've been waiting for Smash to get their Wii U will pick that up, and are more likely to pick up MK8 as a second game.

Those who've been waiting until the holidays to pick up their Wii U for MK8 will pick up the MK8 bundle for their kids but may or may not pick up Smash as a second game.

If there's no Wii U Smash bundle, it will be a missed opportunity for Nintendo.

If there's a deal in the holidays involving both games, sales will soar.

I dunno, but I doubt it. It depends on just how large the hardcore Smash community is and how much they support it. They seem to be stuck on Melee a little too much. If they don't support it after the big effort Nintendo put into catering to them with the For Glory mode and the Final Destination versions of all stages and stuff like that, I foresee the next Smash being heavily geared towards casuals. Here's hoping the promotions to encourage people to buy both versions result in a lot of SSB Wii U sales.

lol, that won't happen. MK8 will outsell Smash Bros WiiU LT by at least 1 million... xD
