Forums - Sales Discussion - UK Charts Week Ending 27 September 2014 (X1>PS4, FIFA 32% PS4, 22% X1)

Superb PS4 on top again with a major realease, loving the lost territory for the Box from gen to gen,

odd how the 360 won the uk and selling most is fine and the PS4 is winning the uk and selling most is a negative

strange that 360 being near the ps4 is good but xone being badly beaten by PS4 isn't,

you'll find that many boxers have gone to playstation that is why the PS4 is winning not that 360 boxers are somehow being patient in teh console warz and will by a boxone later on,what a silly point

the boxers just need to face up to losing the uk,playstation got the job done, look at all the major releases,PS4 selling more units than XONE isn't an indication that XBOX won the game ratio it is an indication it is losing teh console war

your petty points don't change the fact that Xbox had the UK won in gen 7 and playstation took it from you in gen 8,brilliant from sony, loving it

PS4 version of Fifa 15 outselling the others is expected.

Fifa 15 360 > xb1 really is interesting, to say the least.

Also, another great week for Destiny. It seems the average review scores haven't stopped it from topping the charts yet?

Edit: This makes me wonder how the breakdown for the next cod is going to look like.

of course this too

you didn't mind then so doubt you mind now right

mind the gap boxers, you lost the uk,fun isn't it

Damn, wasn't expecting PS4 to take top spot considering the amount of X360 players still out there. Marketing deal for MS failed on this one.

Ouch to the X1. Can't say I'm surprired. CoD will likely be similar and (spoiler alert!), the MCC won't really have much of an effect either. MS is in some serious trouble right now (X1 wise).

I think the game itself will sell a hell of a lot of units but I'm not so sure it will shift that many consoles.

The PS5 Exists.

"Chart-Track doesn’t reveal actual sales figures, since companies have to pay to access that information and aren’t supposed to make it public. But an insider tells us that the PlayStation 4 version was ahead of the Xbox One by 100,000 units."

Yup, exact same thought here. It'll be TF all over again. It'll sell very well, likely with a high attach ratio but it won't be moving nearly the amount of systems people want it to. It feels like a game X1 owners buy for themswlves rather than a game that you buy a console for (and before anyone comes in and tells me their friend's cousin's uncle is getting one, yea, I'm not saying it will move zero consoles). All Sony needs to do is release a GTAV bundle and that'll be all for Nov.

Fifa selling more on PS4 is not surprising since the PS4 has sold much more there.

But Fifa sales weren't bad on Xbox One and we have no hardware numbers...
