Well...the Hero of Winds had to create his own Triforce, reforge the Master Sword, and stabbed Ganondorf in the head. He also defeated Bellum in Phantom Hourglass, found a New Hyrule and had babies with Tsundere Zelda, so I'd argue he was at least on par with the Hero of Time, despite the fact that he'll be the underdog in this thread.

Special mention to LoZ I and II Hero though, just cuz his games were so hard.

The hero of time stopped the apocalypse. /Thread.

He was also defeated though.

So in a sense, the Hero of Time is the weakest Link.

Yeah, all three outcomes of OoT seem like everything is just worse off now. Flooding completely, being enveloped by darkness and a huge war. Not really the best impact on Hyrule.

Fierce Deity mask is pretty good. Don't think it beats the Triforce though, which is used by LTTP and SS Link.

Well, things were looking pretty great at the end of Phantom Hourglass, but that wasnt Hyrule.

Things were also looking pretty great at the end of Minish Cap too, I think.

Easy, Link from Majora's Mask, especially with the Fierce Deity Mask.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

I always thought the Skyward Sword Link was the strongest. He seemed to be the closest to the goddess and the closest to the Master Sword. He also had proper sword training so his skill can't be that worse off than the other Links. Plus he's the original.

Still, out of all the Links, Skyward Sword Link had the best relationship with Zelda. That's gotta be worth something.

Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward = best game ever made.

Fierce Deity Link... Shit got real.

Yeah... i dont agree. He has to use the magic masks to get the power, so its not really his power but the power of the masks. The twilight hero is clearly the strongest.

Fierce Deity Mask is one thing, but what about the Chateau Romani? It's from the same game, and if Link gets it, he has unlimited magic. In OOT, he learns Nayru's Love, which gives him invincibility. Sure, he learns it as an adult, but there's no reason he couldn't know it after being transported back by Zelda as Adult Link into Child Link's body, thus with all the knowledge of Adult Link.

Here's a little math for you. Infinity magic (Chateau Romani)+invincibility powered by said infinite magic (Nayru's Love)+ridiculous attack power that can utterly crush even the final boss (Fierce Deity Mask)=?

The answer is the most broken character ever.

The question is why though? What was the determining factor that led link to be defeated? There are actually theories that suggest that he failed because of the lack of neccessary means to defeat Ganondorf.
