1.) Seperated Trophies!

Before getting my PS4, I contemplated starting a new PSN because I wanted to start fresh and didn't want my ps3 trophies to fill up my PS4 list. I only wanted to see the PS4 trophies. Now that I have the PS4, I can honestly say that I only care to see an individuals PS4 trophies like I originally thought I would. So basically, what needs to be done is this; Make an update that seperates trophies. When looking at trophies on PS4, there should be an "All" list that shows all of an individuals trophies, a "PS4" list that only shows their PS4 trophies, a "PS3" list that only shows their PS3 trophies, and a "PSV" list that only shows their Vita trophies. 

I should easily be able to switch between these 4 list instantly just by simply pressing R1 or L1. We also need the option to pre-set which trophie list automatically pops up 1st when viewing an individuals trophies. I personally would want to pre-set my trophy settings to "PS4 "because I personally only care to view an individuals PS4 trophies BUT if I did want to view their "PSV" trophies specifically or "All" of them, I could just simply press R1 or L1 to view those respective lists within a fraction of a second.

2.) Playstation Miiverse!

I'm DEAD serious about this one! PS4 needs a Playstation-verse much like Nintendo's Miiverse. On PS3 we had the overly-ambitious Playstation Home but that vision was never fully brought to the level it was supposed to reach. Nintendo pretty much looked at the social aspects of PS Home and simplified them with Miiverse. Miiverse isn't perfect but at this point, it's in a comfortable position and the only direction they can go from here is up. PS Home will be discontinued in March so were going to need something to take it's place.

4.) Remove "Players Met" list!

This has to be the most useless feature the PS4 has. On PS3, I played Uncharted 2 online occasionally and Fat Princess HEAVILY and the players that I ran into on those games would show up in the "Players Met" list. But on PS4, I've been playing Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare and Destiny and my "Players Met" list is STILL as empty as it was since the day I bought the PS4 despite running into HUNDREDS of people in these games and becoming friends with them. Maybe they can add something to it that makes the "Players Met" list refresh itself every 24 hours. That way it wont get too overly cluttered and you will have atleast 24 hours to view the list and add a few people you played with. But regardless, PLEASE fix this feature or just remove it, PLEASE!! 

5.) Organization of game library via folders!

We need to have an option to be able to make a folder of our games because I only have like 4 retail games, Resogun, PT Demo, Minecraft Demo and a couple other things and I already feel like my PMD is about to get cluttered. We need to have the option to be able to create a Retail and Digital game folder respectively. We should have the option to set which games are sent to the folder and which games stay on the PMD. Like for retail games, if I have 10 games, I could set it to where my last 5 played games will show up on the PMD but the other 5 automatically get sent back to the folder.

Interesting but why top 5 when there is only 4, lol does that mean that we have un update on the 3rd one :P

Players met - it's not sony fault, it is up to developer to decide whatever they want to put players from respective games there. And unfortunately, many ignores that.

For me most wanted features:

DLNA - I'm using it a lot on ps3, and I want to have it on ps4 so I don't have to use older console for such obvious things...


folder organization - this is a must, I hate clutter that my library has became, with game, browser, media library and other functionalities shuffled in one list ;/

I'm not interested in anything like Miiverse, to be honest, but a lot of people seem to like it. Only if it does not poke its head into my business. I don't care anything about social features on a console; I have my PC for that.

If i started talking about PS4 OS features and what I thought about sony's approach to the PS4 OS, I would have to make a new thread. So for now I would just quote this and say I agree with him.

I would add though, I feel the PS4 OS is a really big oversight on Sony's part. Yes I know that features will come in time but I feel thre was a way they could have easily avoided such issues. I have a smartphone with a processor and GPU and 3GB of LPRAM that is infinately more productive than the PS4. Thats kinda mind boggling when you think of it. Sony should have simply relased a software/app development SDK to everyone and allow everyone build apps for the PS4. And by build apps I mean down to the UI frontend/dynamic menu alternatives. This approach of building evrything themselves for apps is archaic. This way google could make a chrome browser/youtube app themselves and give support that the core firmwares API allows. Utorrent could make a torrent download app, XBMC/Plex could make full featured apps and they all just put them on the PS Store.

Sony could have options fro these apps to be free and ad supported like we have on mobile devices or paid and ad free. I honestly have no idea how come sony didn't think to do this, and wonder if it would be still possible.

Only see number 5 as a legit need, but we really need folders bad! Or some kind of custom organization.

2. Don't remove game updates when you have to delete a game's installed data.

Those are the 2 I wanna see.

I want mp3 and mp4 playback. I also want categories and folders for the friends list(which games do you play together, when was the last time they were on, "best friends". They also need to make the list and messages load faster.
