Since Bayonetta 2 sales is getting multiple threads on multiple forum websites, lets compare it to some third party PS4 games.

Yes, every console has games with low sales, but there are some exceptional games listed here: Diablo III, Injustice, Final Fantasy XIV, Yakuza Ishin, NBA, Metro Last Light. While most games are boring remasters, there are some new ones as well. But the main point is: If any of those games released on Wii U, it would get its seperate thread to blame Nintendo for their low third party sales. More ironically, Bayonetta 2 will sell a lot more than any of these games despite Wii U having a smaller user-base.

I still don't know why every single Wii U game with low sales deserves its own thread. In reality, PS4 and Xbox One also have some really bad sales that I don't recall being mentioned even once anywhere on the internet.

one other big problem...comparing a game that is on one  console with one which is one five,isnt fair!so the best thing,is to compare it with best selling version:P

Also these are VGC software numbers, wich are hardly ever correct.

You can state the same about Wii U games. Wii U also has the eShop for example.

I highlighted Yakuza Ishin for a reason. It is a PS3/PS4 exclusive and Bayonetta 2 will sell better than those 2 combined and Yakuza is considered a relatively big francise. Besides that, multiple multiplatform games on Wii U got blamed for their low sales also.

The obvious difference of course is that not a single title on that list is a proper "major" exclusive.

If it's a title like B2 and it appears to be flopping somewhere, there will be threads about it. There were for PSASB, W101, Puppeteer, even GT6 did.

Yakuza Ishin is Japan only and has already sold more in Japan than Bayonetta 2 ever will (most likely)

Yakuza Ishin isn't exclusive. It was a port... The PS3 version did 140k FW, the PS4 version did 80k FW (vs 39k of Bayo 2)

Bayo 2 will sell better than those two combined? Well shocker, a game released worldwide is going to outsell a game only released in Japan. Maybe you should wait and see if Bayo 2 even manages to reach Yakuza PS4 numbers in japan first before saying anything.. Despite having more than 2x the install base it looks like that won't happen.
