Despite the major media unfairly singling out Bayonetta 2’s Japanese sales (despite not doing that for a multitude of PS4 games). A little fact that was purposely ignored by many is that Bayonetta 2 actually sold 7x the amount the Wonderful 101 did at launch. The Wonderful 101 debut sales were around 5,200 units. Bayonetta 2 debuted with a little under 39,000 units sold in about two days.
Lifetime to date sales in Japan for the Wonderful 101 site at around 53,000 units in Japan. Bayonetta 2 will surpass the lifetime to date sales of The Wonderful 101 soon, if it hasn’t done so already. Theorically specking, on paper you would think the Wonderful 101 would have sold more due to the "demographic" of the WiiU, relasing in a Country where Handhelds are King and Consoles are second. Are these sells decent?
