The Store I work at is out of every copy we got of Hyrule Warriors.  Taking into effect we only got 5, but that is about as many as we got when NHL 15 came out.  It took us almost 2 days before we ran out of those.  We are a small town of rougly 8,000 but an extra 2-3k from neighbor cities.  Hopefully we get replenishment stock in soon because I know we could have sold more if we had them.  As long as the software drought is over, this could be a good sign for Wii U sales in the foreseeable future.

What about sales of the hardware?

Try to stock a lot more!!!!! :D

The NHL part doesn't mean alot, NHL didn't exactly sell gangbusters.

I'm in MN which is still a pretty big hockey state, but as far as hardware goes we didn't sell any yesterday but I did have people last week buy systems and tell me this game was one of the reasons.

How does it compare to other recent game launches?

NHL 15 is not really a good example as many people opt to buy the game digitally. I know I did, and I am very big on owning physical copies of my console games! However sports games simply do not hold value and trading them in when done is pointless so I make an exception.

Besides, Finland? pffft. They may love hockey, but us Canucks LOVE! hockey.
