My god, you just don't get it! Who the hell would spend additional money to improve the graphics of a game that is essentially being given out free? Given how better Bayonetta 2 looks over its original says that the Wii U can push a little harder. Therefore, it is logical to assume given more resources and more directed effort the original could be improved upon. However, it would make no business sense to direct that money into something that is essentially being distributed free. If you can't understand this, then you are clearly blinded by bias, which comes at no surprise judging from your posting history.

"Despite Wii U version not having any noticaible graphical advancements (bar shadows) it still drops frames on a 5 year old game in 720p!  Hence my original post "is this suppossed to be impressive?"."

My original point was dropping framerates DESPITE no enhancements is dissapointing. Is that wrong? Is that biased? Get over yourself.

Your intentions here are obvious.

Why does Bayonetta 1/2 bring out the worst in people? I've never seen more rancor in my two years at VGChartz than I have in Bayonetta threads.

No, did anyone say it was? Anyone expecting this game to look significantly different from the original was destined for disappointment.

Regardless of the content, people seem intent on reading more into these face offs than they should. Free game runs pretty well,  end of story.

Bayonetta is a straight port, included for free.

Well, Bayonetta 1 ain't exactly "free", US gamers only lack the choice of getting Bayonetta 2 without part 1 for a cheaper price ($45 - $50 instead of $60 plus taxes).

You can get Bayonetta 2 for £30 ($49, taxes included) or Bayonetta 1+2 for £40 ($65, taxes included): http://www.idealo.co.uk/mscat.html?q=bayonetta

Since the 360-version and WiiU-version of Bayonetta 1 look and perform almost the same, I will keep my 360-version and will buy the standard edition of Bayonetta 2 instead of the 1+2 bundle.

If the WiiU version would have been much better than the 360-version (1080p without AA or 720p with AA and no dips below 50 fps), I would have probably replaced my 360-version of Bayonetta 1 with the WiiU-version.

We get it. You don't think its impressive. So what? It is just an analysis.

You guys need to let this whole console fan thing take a back seat to decent interation. I know its teh internet but lets try.

Whats obvious is the herd mentality around here. "When I saw the OP wasn't by you, I knew it was good news. ;)"

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

This has turned into such a troll thread it's deliciously hilarious.

Lol, gotta love Subiya.

Not really, those posts suggest a preference to looking at a PC desktop running at 4k than a wii-u running Bayonetta 1+2 in their best outings and the only outing respectively. It's the kind of logic that would definately have me skip over future posts.

As for the quality of this free pack in game, think it's a great move by platinum, ME2 came to the PS3 with just a comic book of what happened in the first game which ended up with that game selling more than double on the 360 where the full story could be had ( I know ME came to the ps3 in the trilogy but much later) It's just always nice being able to experience the full game series without needing to buy different hardware. The fact that DF say it's the definative way of playing Bayonetta is just icing on the cake.

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

So you know that if you post the way you post, everyone on here all treats you the same way... do you not stop to consider that the issue might be with your posts rather than the "herd mentality"? Just a thought.

Or maybe the Wii U fanbase is just too defensive and will never try to understand why someone would want more. Just a thought.

So much bias!

You just gotta know Subiya. I completely agree with you that this is great, and owning a Wii U I can't wait to play it. I'm just saying Subiya would rather do ANYTHING than give props to the Wii U, ESPECIALLY if they're deserved. I just think we can all thank whoever we pray to that it is the best version or he'd really be Subiya-ing it up regardless if it was free.
