I would also love to see that, but we all know that won't happen sadly... :/

This place would flood and riot in rage forms!! LAWL...

That would be pretty amusing! Again, it's a shame it won't happen... :/

Why does Bayonetta 1/2 bring out the worst in people? I've never seen more rancor in my two years at VGChartz than I have in Bayonetta threads.

Petty console wars . They don't care about the game, they just want to get a rise out of some people.

I think it was a bold move, but they can't just stop at "Oh, we are not a kiddie console. we have Bayonetta". They have to continue getting M rated titles to get a more diverse lineup of of games to attract all types of gamers, not just the typical people that buy Nintendo products.

As for the people who say this game is not a system seller, I disagree to a certain extent. I mean, Bayonetta is not your typical Nintendo game that Fanboys usually buy a console for, so maybe the game will give the console a slight boast to an Audience that like games like Bayonetta but don't have a Wii U.

The thing is, Nintendo consoles have had mature games for years, people just overlook them and see Mario everywhere, the first time I seen a character die was a SNES game (Illusions of Time) first time I heard the word fuck in a game uncensored was a GC game (Die Hard Vendetta) first time I've stuck a stop sign through someones head who was already trapped in a garbage bin then picked up their body and slammed it repeatedly against a wall covered in spikes was in a wii game (if you don't know it I'm sad for you) But that's the thing people the adult games are always there but always overlooked because to be fair to Nintendo, they make such outstanding PG games they tend to overlap the gorey stuff that is always present on their machines.

As for system seller I think this is a game that would definately add a + for reasons for anyone to consider buying a Wii-U even if it's just a set of parents getting a console for their kids this Christmas there is the fact that the adults could have this to enjoy when the kids go off to sleep. Might make a few extra sales it just being on their even if it isn't people going out specifically to buy a Wii-U to play this game.

That game sounds like Madworld to me, my friend had it and it was his favorite. But I only played it in bits and pieces (I was addicted to WoW at the time and missed many, MANY great games from 2006-09).

I agree on your previous statements also, their ability to made great games everyone can enjoy is a gift and a curse, because no one notices the great Mature titles they offer as well. I am guilty of this too, for many of my friends that say Eternal Darkess is one of the best games they ever played but I was too busy playing other Nintendo franchises on the GC (Zelda, Mario Kart, Smash Melee, Fire Emblem, Metroid) hell, I was even stuck on the franchises that were previously successful on their past systems (007: Nightfire, 007: Everything or Nothing) and their Sega exclusives (Phantasy Star Online eps: I,II, II). I guess I even have a Bias that Nintendo can't make a great "M" game. That's gonna change this October though because I plan on getting Bayonetta 2 (ironically I wasn't going to even get it though, but the 2 for 1 game deal sold me).

BTW thanks for reminding me of Madworld. I am shopping on Amazon for it as I am writing this.

Amen.

Hell, even the "family" Wii had stuff like No More Heroes 1 and 2, Resident Evil 4, Umbrella Chronicles, and Darkside Chronicles, Madworld, Dead Space Extraction, ports of COD World at War / Modern Warfare / Black Ops /Modern Warfare 3...

Haha, glad I can help sell another copy of that game, was absoloutly great but didn't sell too well at all if I recall (just under 3/4m according to the figures on here) There is a bit of a spin off from it too called Anarcy reigns or something to that effect which was on the ps360, not sure if it's the same game type but I know some of the madworld characters are in it, Jack for sure.

As for the GC don't forget Nintendos own take on ghost fps game Heist http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geist_%28video_game%29 tis not great but it's pretty gorey at times, sits on my collection awaiting being played still tho. GC was my main system all through its generation tho so enjoyed the likes of Conflict desert storm, Hitman, PN03, Bloody Roar, Mortal Kombat : DA etc etc on it, but yeah same old same old, those games sold a ton more on PS2/Xbox when they were also ported to them since people are just convinced those games don't exist on the big N to the point where they actually don't see them being there.

also PSO 1+2 were on the DC as individual games.... I know that the version which has 4 player offline splitscreen was only found on the gc but still, those games got a big playing from me on the DC before I got the GC versions.

Yup, you helped me buy it! It was only 10 bucks on Amazon too! What a steal!

I remember Geist. But I didn't end up getting it because of the disappointed reviews, friends played it also, they told me it was a good game but just don't expect anything huge out of it. And you see I didn't even know we got all that 3rd party Support for the GC as well, was paying attention too much for the exclusives.

I also played PSO on the DC first as well! I considered this the TRUE PSO experience because of the Keyboard. On the GC you had to buy a $50 game, $40 Broadband Modem, and a $80 dollar KB for the full experience and ppl didn't have the KB because it was an expensive Import. But DC PSO was so epic! Boys and girls were getting Married ingame, they were many hacker clans, the ninjaing of items was crazy, duping with the Gameshark, and finally communicating with people all over the globe! Albeit it was just with a KB but that's all we needed back then!

Funny thing is Destiny has lots of elements from the First PSO: no trading, very little story, repeated missions, and TONS of grinding. I guess don't break what works. :P

Yep, that's the Wii remake of Fatal Frame 2, which was released as Project Zero 2: Wii Edition in Europe and Australia.
