Ok, so this game just came out of nowhere guns blazing and wrecked practically everything out this year in terms of scores. I'm not a big LoTR fan so I didn't pay it much attention until I saw a couple reviews and realised that it has a Arkham-eque combat system. Now it went from a no buy to a must have.

What are your thoughts on Shadow of Mordor. Will you be getting it?

I will be getting it. Been watching the game for a while.

I love LotR, but this game seems like a mashup of Assassins Creed and Arkham, so I will probably play AC and Arkham before and never get around to this...

Yes, wanted it even before the reviews came out. Just not day 1, favorable reception might have speed up things a bit though, might get it during holidays.

Pre-ordered it last week. Knew it looked promising.

I always try to give the LOTR games a chance and this one looks to be very promising!

I don´t know...I never cared about the universe and lore of Lords of the Rings, dislike Assassins Creed but love the Batman Arkham games, and I´m growing tired of open world games.

On the other hand, this Nemesis system sounds fantastic, but I wouldn´t get a game only for this new feature.

I think I´ll end up borrowing it from a friend.
