I'm just finishing up the Sacred Stones now. I'm on a roll

I may try Shadow Dragon first. Start from the beginning, find out what the big deal is about Marth aside from the obvious.

Shadow Dragon is a good game. But it's nothing really special. It does have a good score, some memorable quotes (especially Caeda's famous Fire Emblem quote), some memorable characters (Marth, Lady Caeda, Tiki, the "Whitewings" Palla, Catria, Est and their Master Minerva, Ogma, Merrick, Nyra and especially Camus). But the story and the gameplay are really basic. Think of it as the vanilla Super Mario Bros of fire emblem games. Plus Marth is considered by many to be the 2nd weakest Lord of them all.

If I were to choose a great fire emblem to get into the series,  Id be Fire Emblem GBA (aka The Blazing Sword). It was the first one released in NA and has many memorable characters (too many to name), and one of the best stories in Video Game history. Sacred Stones should be played right after this, but don't expect it to be better than Blazing Sword (its actually shorter and the characters and villains arent as memorable), still a solid game with a great story. Then Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn in that order (since RD is the Sequel to PoR). Radiant Dawn is a huge hit or miss. FE fans either think its the worst game in the series or one of the best games of all time( Rd is my fave). Even the ones who hate RD dont say its a bad game though.

Who's the weakest? My favorite Lord would have to be Lyndis.

Roy... (lulz) That's pretty bad because I heard Leif (a Lord in the Japanese FE:Genology of the Holy War and Thracia 776) gets owned throughout most of his games, but still has a 2nd stage. Marth DOESNT HAVE a 2nd class (Double lulz) but can go up to level 30 in the lord class at least, while Roy has really glass hp and defense in his game.

Lyndis was my favorite for a while but my Order is 1) RD Ike (not the PoR I have self - esteem issues Ike) 2) Hector 3) Lyndis and 4) Lucina

I dont know much about the Japanese FEs, though I beat all the ones released in the states...

Yeah man. RD Ike is my second fave. I kind of don't like Hector all that much.

Thanks for the tips. Shadow Dragon sounds like pretty much what I expect from the first game, so I'll still play it at some point. I suppose which I play first will depend on which one is easiest to come by.

Also, Ye_dengle? XD

Hector is hella funny though! He calls Lyn a brute when he first meets her, insults enemies and talks trash to them, and is the only Lord to wield an Axe! Plus, he's a powerhouse Offensively and Defensive in game.

I can understand though, one of my friends think he's annoying...

Powerhouse isn't what I would use to describe him...

Broken then?

Do I even have to mention Mr. Game & Watch? He'd kill all those losers. But seriously though, Ike kills gods, he'd kill em' too.
